Ultherapy Prime is the latest generation of the Ultherapy focused ultrasound platform. Its upgraded imaging lets the practitioner see the skin layers on screen while treating, so energy can be placed at the intended depth with greater precision.

The device concentrates ultrasound energy beneath the surface, down to the SMAS (the fibrous layer that surgeons tighten in a facelift), while leaving the outer skin intact. Small heated points of roughly 60–70°C start a natural repair response that remodels aging collagen and encourages new collagen over the following months.

What to expect

During treatment you may feel brief heat or a deep prickling sensation in bonier areas; comfort levels vary from person to person.

The session typically takes 30 to 90 minutes, depending on how many areas are treated. Most people return to normal routines the next day. Temporary redness, mild swelling, tenderness, tingling or small bruises can occur and usually settle on their own.
