What is Thermage FLX?

Thermage FLX is the fourth-generation Thermage system. It delivers monopolar radiofrequency (RF) energy through a treatment tip that alternates cooling and heating, protecting the outer skin while warming the dermis and deeper connective tissue.

Heat causes existing collagen fibers to contract, which can create an initial tightening effect. Over the following months, the body replaces heated collagen with new fibers, which may improve firmness and elasticity. Is Thermage FLX the same as Ultherapy?

No. Thermage FLX uses radiofrequency to heat the dermis broadly, while Ultherapy uses focused ultrasound at set depths, including the SMAS. They address slightly different layers and are sometimes combined.

Can I treat my eyelids?

Yes, a dedicated eye tip can be used on the upper and lower eyelid area. Protective eye shields are used, and your doctor will confirm suitability first.

How long do results last?
