What is Rejuran?

Rejuran is made from polynucleotides, DNA fragments purified from salmon. When placed in the dermis, PN is thought to create a favorable environment for skin repair, support fibroblast activity and encourage collagen production, which may help skin look thicker, smoother and more resilient.

Egg Clinic offers three versions. Rejuran Healer is used for overall skin quality across the face. Rejuran I is formulated for the thinner skin around the eyes. Rejuran HB contains a hyaluronic acid component and lidocaine for extra hydration and comfort.

How we treat it at Egg Clinic

The PN solution is delivered directly into the dermis with fine needles, placed in a close grid or with small droplets over the chosen area. Because it works from within the skin rather than on the surface, it does not rely on peeling or heat.

Treatment areas include the full face, neck, the eye area and the under-eye region. The doctor chooses the version and technique based on your skin thickness and goals, and may combine it with laser toning or lifting devices.

What to expect

After a consultation to confirm Rejuran is right for you, numbing cream is applied for about 30 to 40 minutes. The injections take about 30 minutes, and there is a stinging sensation, especially with Rejuran Healer, although numbing helps.

Small raised bumps are expected and usually settle within a day or two. Redness, swelling and mild bruising can occur and generally fade within several days. Skin quality tends to improve gradually, and a course of about three to four sessions two to three weeks apart is commonly recommended. Results vary.

Aftercare

• Do not rub, press or massage the treated areas
• Avoid alcohol, smoking, saunas and intense exercise for about one week
• Use a regenerating cream and moisturizer regularly
• Apply sunscreen daily
• Postpone peeling treatments and scrubs until the skin has settled

Frequently asked questions

Is Rejuran suitable during pregnancy?

Rejuran is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or when there is an active skin infection. Please tell the doctor about any of these at your consultation.

What is the difference between Rejuran Healer and Rejuran I?

Rejuran Healer is designed for general skin quality across the face, while Rejuran I is formulated for the thin skin around the eyes. Your doctor will recommend the version that fits your concern.

When will I see results?

Some people notice smoother, calmer skin after the first session, but changes in elasticity and texture usually build over a full course. Results vary between individuals.
