What is Juvelook Volume?

Juvelook Volume combines poly-D,L-lactic acid (PDLLA) with hyaluronic acid. When injected into the subcutaneous fat layer, the PDLLA slowly breaks down and prompts the body to build new collagen, which may add firmness and volume over time.

Its porous, mesh-like particle structure is intended to sustain collagen stimulation while dispersing evenly. Because the result develops over weeks to months, it tends to look more subtle and natural than instant volume from a conventional filler.

What to expect

Your consultation covers your facial anatomy, previous fillers and medical history. Numbing cream or local anesthetic is used, and the procedure takes about 30 to 60 minutes. Pressure and mild discomfort are typical.

Bruising, swelling, tenderness and occasionally a mild feverish feeling may occur and usually subside within a few days. Some immediate fullness from the hyaluronic acid and fluid fades, and collagen-driven volume then builds over about one to three months. One to three sessions about a month apart are common. Results vary.

Aftercare

• Avoid makeup for 24 hours
• Skip peeling products, scrubs and intense sun exposure
• Avoid alcohol, smoking, saunas, steam rooms, hot baths and strenuous exercise for one week

Juvelook Volume has a higher PDLLA concentration and is placed deeper, in the subcutaneous layer, to address volume loss. Standard Juvelook is placed in the dermis for skin quality.

Will I see results immediately?

There is some early fullness, but the main effect comes from collagen formation, which typically becomes visible over several weeks to a few months.

Can it replace hyaluronic acid filler?

It suits people who prefer gradual change. For defined contouring, a hyaluronic acid filler may still be more suitable, and your doctor can advise.
