What is SMILLS One-Day Liposuction?

How we treat it at Egg Clinic

Your physician examines the area, checks skin elasticity and reviews your medical history and medications, including blood thinners and supplements. Pre-procedure tests may be requested.

• Design: the area is marked while you stand
• Anesthesia: local anesthesia is used to numb the area
• Fat removal: fat is gently suctioned through small incisions
• Finishing: incisions are closed or dressed, and a compression garment may be recommended

What to expect

You will stay at the clinic for a few hours, including preparation and a short rest afterward. Pressure and pulling sensations are common during the procedure, while local anesthesia limits pain.

Swelling, bruising, tenderness and numbness are expected and improve over days to weeks. Less common risks include contour irregularity, fluid collection, infection and skin changes, which your physician will explain. The final shape becomes clearer as swelling resolves over a few months. Results vary.

Aftercare

• Wear the compression garment as instructed
• Keep incision sites clean and dry
• Avoid saunas, hot baths and strenuous exercise until cleared
• Walk lightly to support circulation
• Attend follow-up visits and report fever, severe pain or unusual swelling
