ONDA is made by DEKA in Italy and uses a technology called Coolwaves, which delivers microwave energy rather than radiofrequency or ultrasound. The microwaves act on the dermis and subcutaneous fat while the skin surface is protected by cooling.

Heat in these deeper layers may stimulate collagen regeneration and cause the underlying tissues to contract, helping tighten skin and redefine contours. Energy at the fat layer may also help reduce localized fullness.
