IV Nutrient Therapy (IVNT)

What is IV Nutrient Therapy (IVNT)?

IV nutrient therapy is the intravenous delivery of nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, amino acids and antioxidants. Because the drip bypasses the digestive system, nutrients enter the circulation directly.

IVNT is used as a wellness and skin support option, often by people who feel run down, are traveling, or want to complement skin treatments. It is not a substitute for a balanced diet or for medical treatment of an underlying condition, and benefits vary from person to person.

Who it's for

IV nutrient therapy may be considered if you:

  • Feel tired or depleted during a demanding period
  • Are recovering from travel or jet lag
  • Want antioxidant support alongside skin treatments
  • Have a busy schedule and want a supportive wellness session
  • Have discussed specific wellness goals with a physician

How we treat it at Egg Clinic

A physician checks your medical history, medications, allergies and any kidney, heart or other conditions before selecting a formula. Options at Egg Clinic include:

  • All-in-One IV: a broad blend of vitamins and minerals
  • Premium Skin Antioxidant Care IV: antioxidant-focused support for skin
  • NAD+ Gold Vitamin IV: an NAD+ based wellness drip
  • Chelation IV: offered as a one-week program when appropriate
  • Testosterone injection: available only after physician assessment

What to expect

You relax in a treatment room while a nurse places a small IV line, usually in the arm. The drip takes about 30 to 60 minutes. You may feel a brief pinch at insertion and sometimes a coolness or taste change during the infusion.

There is no recovery time, and you can return to your day immediately. Possible side effects include bruising or soreness at the IV site, lightheadedness, and rarely allergic reactions or vein irritation. Tell the staff right away if you feel unwell during the drip.

Aftercare

  • Drink water and eat normally after your session
  • Keep the IV site clean and apply gentle pressure if it bruises
  • Report any swelling, redness or pain at the site
  • Tell us about new medications or supplements before your next session
  • Follow the frequency your physician recommends

Frequently asked questions

Is IV therapy safe for everyone?

Not always. Some heart, kidney or other conditions, pregnancy and certain medications can affect suitability, which is why a physician reviews your health first.

How often can I have IVNT?

Frequency is flexible, but your physician will recommend what is appropriate for the formula and your health.

Can I combine it with skin treatments?

Yes, many patients schedule an IV on the same day as skin procedures.
